This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was little. I remember my grandma used to cook this all the time! I was always excited to go to her house because she would cook dishes like this one on weekends! I am so grateful to her for sharing this recipe with me because now, I get to share it with you as well. How awesome is that? Well, here you go, friends! I have listed all the ingredients and directions. You just have to follow them step by step for they will guide you to perfection! Feel free to add more ingredients to this very simple recipe if you prefer. I am sure that you can do a lot to make this recipe even better! Have a great day, friends. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

3-5 lbs. boneless pork chops (thick cut 1-inch- 1 1/2-inch)

1/4 c cornstarch

1/2 c ketchup

1/2 c light brown sugar, packed

1/4 c low sodium soy sauce

1 tsp minced garlic

1-3 tbsp red chilli paste (I used Gourmet Garden)

1 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp kosher salt

Directions:

Add everything into a 6-quart slow cooker aside from the cornstarch and pork chops. Stir until well blended.

Add the pork chops and stir again until well coated.

Cover the slow cooker, then cook for about 4 hours on a low setting.

Add the slurry, then stir until well blended.

Cover the slow cooker and cook the pork chops for another hour until fork-tender.

Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

Make sure to reduce the amount of chilli paste that you are going to add if you are not a fan of spicy food.

Cooking time depends on the thickness of the pork
